On July 17, 2018, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh inaugurated the new Convention Centre in Sector 23 of Naya Raipur, a landmark facility aimed at promoting business events, conferences, and exhibitions in the state. The Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation (CSIDC) spearheaded the project, investing ₹25 crore to develop a modern, multi-purpose venue to boost the region’s business and tourism sectors.
